The Raiders will have to finish their game Sunday against the Eagles without running back Josh Jacobs.

Jacobs went to the Las Vegas locker room before the end of the first half while dealing with a chest injury. He was ruled questionable to return at first, but the Raiders announced before the start of the second half that Jacobs was out for the game.

It’s unclear when Jacobs suffered the injury or what the extent of it is. His final play of the afternoon was an 8-yard touchdown run in which he ran around the left side of the offensive line and took minimal contact on his way into the end zone.

Jacobs finished the day with six carries for 29 yards and a touchdown. He also made three catches for 39 yards.

Kenyan Drake is the Raiders’ lead back with Jacobs out. Drake was the Cardinals’ top back last season, rushing for 955 yards and 10 TDs. Jalen Richard will serve as Drake’s backup and a receiving weapon out of the backfield.

Jacobs was the second running back to suffer a significant injury during Raiders vs. Eagles. Philadelphia starter Miles Sanders was carted off with an ankle injury that he suffered at the end of the first quarter. He was ruled out for the rest of the game as well.
